The essential functions of the Site Acquisition Specialist position are as follows:

  • Drive client’s design requirements to identify and qualify the best available properties for the installation of new wireless antenna sites and or site modifications
  • Perform preliminary property analysis based on client’s preferred design and coverage objectives
  • Attend meetings as required. Review zoning/construction drawings and modify as necessary to ensure compliance with client’s RF design and landlord requirements
  • Ability to work/manage driven teams to meet client’s objectives and deadlines
  • Influence and obtain property owner consent/lease on the proposed wireless antenna site installation
  • Negotiate and obtain leases, access easements and ancillary agreements with private property owners, corporations and government agencies
  • Communicate/correspond with legal counsel to obtain all necessary documents required to complete transaction
  • Ensure that documentation is maintained in compliance with corporate policies
  • Facilitate communication and handoffs with other departments and/or vendors, as appropriate
  • Perform other real estate or site acquisition support activities, as assigned

The desired candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • Real estate license preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in real estate and/or wireless site acquisition
  • Knowledge of jurisdictional permit processes and construction of wireless infrastructure
  • Understanding of real estate issues including: contracts, negotiations, research and leases
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolutions skills
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Interpersonal Communication
  • Self-directed and can work independently to drive project deliverables on time and on budget
  • Self-motivated
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Clear understanding of and ability to interpret documents such as title reports, leases, easements, plat maps, topography maps, zoning codes and zoning filing requirements
  • Ability to travel to various markets and hold a valid drivers’ license
